Knowledge search and internal copilots can run on your infrastructure. They follow permissions. Important writes can require a person.

Knowledge Engine

When enabled, documents and selected business knowledge are ingested into Qdrant collections and an ArcadeDB graph. Search is not a public web crawl.

Ask documents and records together

Copilots can retrieve file chunks and structured context for customers, projects, diary entries, quality and analytics—within what the signed-in user is allowed to see.

Local or hosted models

The AI plane can call Vertex AI (Gemini) or Ollama on a dedicated host. Model choice follows the infrastructure you actually run.

On-premise deployments

Ollama, Redis, Qdrant and ArcadeDB can live on private hosts. Those services are not meant to be exposed to the public internet.

Permissions still apply

A copilot does not become a back door. Retrieval and tools run in the same authenticated, role-aware API as the rest of NexusOS.

Human confirmation

When proposed actions are enabled, the assistant can draft a change. A person confirms it before the mutation is applied.

Traceability

Operational activity and administrative audit remain separate facilities. AI-assisted work still lands in the systems of record you already use.

Not an unsupervised agent

NexusOS does not claim that AI will run the company alone. It drafts, retrieves, summarises and proposes. People remain responsible for the work.
